Note: If your submitted online form shows you need a service outside our scope (such as pathology, imaging, or restricted medications), your consultation will be cancelled and fully refunded before a doctor calls. Once a phone assessment begins, the fee is non-refundable.

We deliver a simple, convenient, and secure platform for accessing healthcare services such as certificates, prescriptions, and specialist referrals—sent directly to your phone if deemed clinically appropriate.
After submitting your online form, the doctor will call you for a consultation—usually within 10–20 minutes, depending on current demand. If your request is deemed clinically appropriate, your digital certificate or prescription will be generated and sent straight to your phone via email or SMS immediately after the consultation concludes.
Yes. Every service on our platform requires a real-time phone consultation. You will always speak directly with an AHPRA-registered doctor who will assess your symptoms safely and provide professional medical advice during your call.
Hello Doctor provides consultations for children aged 2 years and over. To ensure patient safety, the doctor strictly do not consult on children under 2 years of age. If your child is under 2 years old, please visit an in-person GP or attend your nearest hospital. For life-threatening emergencies, call 000 immediately.
No. Hello Doctor operates strictly within safe clinical boundaries. To ensure patient safety, the doctor does not issue prescriptions for high-risk, restricted, or monitored medications.
Our service strictly excludes consultations for the following drugs of dependence and restricted substances:
• Schedule 8 (S8) Controlled Drugs
• Schedule 4 Appendix D (S4D) Prescribed Restricted Substances (including Real-Time Prescription Monitoring substances)
• Authority-required or specialist-only medications
• First-time or ongoing prescriptions for complex or specialised therapies.
Every prescription requires a thorough phone assessment and is issued solely at the doctor's clinical discretion. If your submitted online form is for an excluded service, it will be cancelled and fully refunded before a doctor calls.
Yes — we offer one-day and multi-day certificates for illness or caring responsibilities.
Absolutely. All certificates are issued by an AHPRA-registered doctor and accepted by employers and educational institutions.
You must have either a Medicare card or an Individual Health Identifier (IHI) to receive an eScript.
