Hello Doctor is a telehealth service providing phone consultations with an AHPRA-registered doctor across Australia. We offer medical certificates, prescriptions, and specialist referrals — all handled quickly, conveniently, and securely over the phone.

If clinically appropriate, your document will be sent via SMS or email within minutes after your consultation.

Yes — after submitting your form, there will be a brief phone consultation with an AHPRA-registered doctor to discuss your concerns.

No — we do not prescribe certain high-risk, restricted, or monitored medications, including Schedule 8 (S8) and certain Schedule 4D (S4D) medicines. This includes, but is not limited to: diazepam (Valium), clonazepam, lorazepam, temazepam, oxazepam, alprazolam, oxycodone (Endone/OxyContin), tramadol, codeine-containing painkillers, pregabalin (Lyrica), gabapentin, zolpidem (Stilnox), zopiclone, quetiapine (Seroquel), phentermine (Duromine), lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse), modafinil, dexamphetamine, methylphenidate (Ritalin/Concerta), and anabolic steroids.

Authority-required or specialist-only medications and first-time prescriptions for specialist-only medications are also not issued via telehealth.

Yes — we offer one-day and multi-day certificates for illness or caring responsibilities.

Absolutely. All certificates are issued by an AHPRA-registered doctor and accepted by employers and educational institutions.

You must have either a Medicare card or an Individual Health Identifier (IHI) to receive an eScript.
